KAABOO resists the whole “festival” tag, instead calling its immersive arts-and-culture vibe “a new kind of entertainment and arts experience designed around comfort, hospitality, and good times.” The idea is to offer something of an alternative to the typical music festival by appealing to all five senses, serving up world-class cuisine and contemporary art to go along with the onstage performances, and emphasizing luxurious comfort throughout—not least via the pampering indulgences of the spa and relaxation zones.

Some mighty big names are hitting both the music and comedy stages at KABOO Del Mar this year. Music-wise we’re talking headlining sets by the Foo Fighters, Blondie, Post Malone, Incubus, Halsey, and Gucci Mane on Friday the 14th; Imagine Dragons, N.E.R.D., Earth, Wind & Fire, Cake, Billy Idol, and Big Boi on Saturday the 15th; and Katy Perry, Robert Plant and the Sensational Space Shifters, Alice in Chains, Wiz Khalifa, TLC, Slash, and Jewel on Sunday the 16th—plus loads of other great musicians rounding out the head-spinning bill.
And you’ll have plenty to laugh about at KABOO Del Mar courtesy of live comedy by Whitney Cummings, Judd Apatow, Kevin Nealon, Craig Ferguson, Louie Anderson, Nikki Glaser, Pauly Shore, and others.
